130 Huboo job opportunities in Bristol fulfilment centre

Huboo has announced it will be expanding its Bristol-based fulfilment centre team by 130 roles due to increased demand for its software-driven fulfilment services. The Huboo job opportunities will be predominantly fulfilment centre operatives at its new More+ site near Avonmouth and takes the team to 465; an increase of 800%+ in just two years.

Huboo, which provides end-to-end fulfilment services for ecommerce businesses of all sizes, is commissioning a free-to-ride bus for all Bristol and Newport areas, helping employees combat increased traffic, reduce their commuting costs and to enable a more diverse workforce.

The Huboo job opportunities coincide with the furlough scheme drawing to a complete close, which is believed to still affect around 590,000 UK workers. Huboo hopes the creation of its new roles will help some of those who have been and continue to be impacted.

Recent months have seen a boom for the firm, with revenue increasing by a staggering 730 per cent, the team trebling in size and warehouse space quadrupling over the past 12 months, with an average of over 100 customers being onboarded a month.

“As increasing numbers of consumers are shopping online, we’re being contacted by more and more ecommerce businesses who want to sell their products direct to consumers. They range from start-ups to established and growing businesses that require the support of a company like Huboo to provide quality fulfillment services they can rely on.

The new recruits will help to ensure we continue to offer a personalised service to our customers – we’re really looking forward to welcoming them on board.”
– Martin Bysh, co-founder and CEO, Huboo

This year saw Huboo kick-start its European expansion with the opening of a new 35,000 sqft warehouse in Eindhoven, the Netherlands.

As the UK’s fastest-growing fulfilment company, Huboo opened its new base in June in response to growing customer demand and changing international trading laws as a result of Brexit.

The overseas move has created 200 new Huboo job opportunities to date and the warehouse will have the capacity to cater for more than 300 ecommerce clients at all times, with the potential to expand quickly if needed. Huboo will be the first and only company to provide its pioneering microhub technology in the Netherlands.
