Continuing the second round of the eBay for Change video diaries, we are checking in again with Jenny Trott, founder of Mecoco, to hear how she is finding the programme. Mecoco (a member of Social Enterprise UK) is a social enterprise based in Scotland and it is part of the eBay for Change side of the programme.
Jenny started Mecoco in 2019 to ensure that her son could have meaningful work to do when he left school. Mecoco provides work experience opportunities for disabled adults and young people making and selling home fragrance products such as candles and reed diffusers. They adapt equipment, processes and even products in order to make work accessible for as many people as possible.
Watch the video to hear what Jenny has been learning and what she has found most valuable about the programme so far. As a total newbie to eBay it’s interesting to hear her views on everything from listings, creating descriptions, Terapeak and getting to grips with the marketplace. It’s also encouraging to hear that eBay are offering all of the eBay for Change programme participants plenty of help and advice in getting started selling on the marketplace.
Remember to check out Mecoco’s products in their eBay Shop and all of the other eBay for Change sellers on the online hub.
