Win £10k eBay voucher (Private sellers only)

Could you spend ten grand on eBay by the end of the year? If so read on as it could be you! Any private seller who creates a new listing for an item on eBay UK before midnight on the 22nd of August will be entered into a Prize Draw entry to win a massive £10k eBay voucher prize. All you need to do is list an item by the 22nd of August. You can enter a maximum of five times, so list up to five items for a greater chance of winning! One item listed is one entry.

There will be one prize winner who will be selected at random from all the Eligible Entries. The £10k eBay voucher prize will be split into four vouchers worth £2500 each which can only be used on eBay UK, One Winner will receive all four vouchers. Each voucher can only be used in one transaction. This means you can go on four shopping sprees and fill your basket with over two grands worth of goods at a time and it won’t cost you a penny… plus of course as an added bonus when the items you list sell you’ll get a bit of additional pin money!

There are some Ts and Cs which you can read on eBay, but if you live in England, Wales, or Scotland and have a private eBay account then get listing to get entered to win the £10k eBay voucher prize.

eBay recently revealed three key attributes that indicate a consumer is a high-value eBay buyer – the attributes are:

  • buying over $800 (~£575)
  • buying six times a year, or
  • buyers who also sell

By enticing millions of buyers to start listing up to five items, eBay are taking low or medium value buyers and instantly turning them into high value buyers and if they go on to spend more on eBay in the future and become more highly engaged buyers that’s a good thing for every single seller on the platform.

A corollary will also be that many of these buyers who turn to consumer selling in the hopes of landing an amazing shopping spree with a £10k eBay voucher will also be using eBay payments to receive the proceeds of their sales for the first time.

And… if you’ve read all of this and think that it doesn’t apply to you because you are a business seller… well you are allowed a private account as well and if you can’t find five items hanging around your house that you need to sell check for old mobiles or other tech, root out any old DVDs or CDs you still have hanging around, check your wardrobe for clothes you are never going to wear again and peek into the broom cupboard or shed for old tools, bikes or sport equipment you haven’t touched in years.
