Amazon are updating the fees for the Small and Light FBA Label Service and have also enabled Pan-European FBA distribution.

Small and Light FBA Label Service fee changes

From the 1st of June 2021, FBA Small and Light requirements started to require that each individual unit has an Amazon barcode in the UK and Germany. This requirement already existed for France, Italy, and Spain. If you don’t want to do the work yourself, you can sign up for the Small and Light FBA Label Service to have Amazon apply the labels for you.

The label service has currently been free for Small and Light products that are enrolled in the UK and Germany (£0.15 per-item for standard FBA items), and €0.09 per unit for products that are enrolled in France, Italy, and Spain. This is changing from the 1st of November when the Small and Light FBA Label Service fees in the UK rise from £0.00 to £0.08 per unit and in Germany from €0.00 to €0.09 per unit.

The fee for this service is unchanged in France, Italy and Spain and remains at €0.09 per unit.

Best advice if you make use of the Small and Light FBA Label Service is to get your stock in ahead of the November deadline, although you are probably already planning to do so in preparation for Black Friday and the Christmas selling season.

Small and Light now eligible for Pan-European FBA and virtual tracking

Amazon have also launched Pan-European FBA for Small and Light1. You can enrol eligible FBA Small and Light offers in Pan-European FBA and the European Fulfilment Network. You can also now use manufacturer barcodes to ship and track eligible offers.
