  1. Right now there is an uproar on Etsy because legitimate listings are being deactivated. In an effort to eliminate designer knock-off items, vintage designer items, such as clothing and sewing patterns, are being deleted from shops by Etsy bots. Etsy sellers are allowed to list vintage or handmade or craft supply items. Yet vintage designer sewing patterns, like the ones I sell, are being taken down by the bots. Nobody can contact Etsy or do anything about it. Just another blow to legitimate sellers. Meanwhile, literally hundreds of thousands of handmade “Disney” items are still listed. There are even shops with “Disney” in the name. So many other copyright infringement items are also listed, along with manufactured items from China – definitely not handmade.
