Covid
We start 2022 with the Omicron variant seeing England in Plan B Covid restrictions with work from home advice in place and school children being asked once again to wear face masks in classrooms. With the increased transmissible of Omicron, staffing pressures on the NHS are increasing as they are for many businesses. Advice would be to plan for staff being forced to isolate and make sure you still have Covid safe working practices in place.
Similar measures are in place in Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland and while this isn’t great news, it does mean that we should marketplace selling remaining buoyant.
