Fundraising for Ukraine – PayPal waive fees

No primary category set

Over 2 million people have fled their homes in Ukraine. They need food, water, shelter and medical assistance. The DEC has launched an urgent appeal. Disasters Emergency Committee (DEC) member charities are on the ground in Ukraine and in bordering countries, meeting people’s immediate needs. As the situation on the ground in Ukraine worsens, there is a growing humanitarian crisis so fundraising for Ukraine is urgent.

PayPal are waiving all fees to those that want to support by fundraising for Ukraine. Donate to support international relief charities via PayPal Giving Fund and 100% of your donation will go to support a responding charity – no deductions, no fees.

We know that many Tamebay readers have used PayPal in the past when it was the way they received funds from their eBay sales. Many will still have a small residual balance in their PayPal account. We urge you to log into PayPal and if you find a balance then send it to DEC to assist their efforts in easing the humanitarian disaster.

Of course, if you don’t have funds in your PayPal account, you can still make a donation funded from your bank account. Regardless of which currency your balance is or your bank account is funded in, it’s simple to donate in just a few clicks.

The fund raiser page is here and you can donate directly through PayPal at that page.
