Before this announcement it was only businesses and creators who could tag their products on Instagram. Now all users in the US can tag the products of businesses who have Instagram Shopping set up. If someone tags your product you will be notified. This expansion is great news for businesses as it provides even more ways for them to be discovered and enhances the relationship between brands and consumers.

People come to Instagram to share and discover trends and inspiration. Product tagging will make it possible for anyone to support their favorite small businesses, share how they styled their looks along with the products they used and more.
