Post Brexit Amazon EFN for apparel categories restarts

No primary category set

Brexit? Didn’t that all happen two years ago I hear you say. Well it might have done but the ecommerce industry is still shaking down the ramifications of leaving the EU and one service that’s starting to get sorted is post Brexit Amazon EFN (European Fulfilment Network).

Post Brexit Amazon EFN hasn’t been operational for most of the past two years but it’s slowly starting to come back to life with stock automatically being transferred between the UK and EU once again. It offers perhaps one of the simplest ways of selling to Europe for UK sellers (and vice versa for EU sellers) as all you have to do is tick a box and Amazon deal with all of the logistics. Of course you may well have to consider your tax situation but that’s altogether another story.

While Amazon continue the dial-up of the European Fulfilment Network (EFN) between the UK and the EU through the month of June, they have announced that Clothing, Shoes, Watches, and Sports apparel listings will be eligible for shipment from the UK to Germany, France, Spain, and Italy.

Starting this week, eligible listings under Clothing, Shoes, Watches, and Sports apparel may be automatically enrolled into EFN from the UK to the EU.

If you have active offers or have enrolled into EFN between the UK and the EU from your FBA settings, Amazon recommend that you review your pricing to ensure EFN fees are included for the newly enabled selection.

You’ll find the latest FBA rate card here and for Post Brexit Amazon EFN check out the European Fulfilment Network between the UK and the EU details.
