Amazon Premium A+ content now free for brand owners

No primary category set

Sellers who have registered as a Brand Owner with Amazon Brand Registry are now eligible for Premium A+ content at no cost for an extended promotional period. You will need to have a history of publishing A+ content and can expect accelerated sales in return for the investment in media to promote your offers.

There is no end date for the promotion and Amazon have indicated that it will be almost indefinite adding that they they announce a fee for Premium A+ content they will invite you to opt in.

What is Premium A+?

Premium A+ content offers new and larger module types in the product description section on the product detail page such as video, image carousels, and interactive hotspots. It enables you to rely much less on text and much more on imagery and video.

Amazon say that implementing Premium A+ content can increase your sales by 20%, which should be a more than compelling reason to make the workload of creating video and images for your top selling lines worthwhile. It will work well both for low ASP high products with an expectation of a high sell through rate as well as high ASP and luxury products even if they have a lower rate of sales.

During the promotional period, you can publish Premium A+ content for all registered ASINs using A+ content manager.

Qualification for Premium A+ Content

If you have published A+ brand story across your ASIN catalogue and have had at least 15 A+ content projects approved in the past 12 months, for each Amazon store, you are eligible for Premium A+ content.

Access for Premium A+ is granted at the end of each month. If you meet the criteria, you will see a banner in the A+ content manager for access.

For more information on A+ content, Premium A+, and to find out if you are eligible, go to Get started with A+ content.
