Managing a brand on marketplaces

No primary category set

Managing a brand reputation at arms length when selling on marketplaces is never easy. That’s why at ChannelX World on the 13th of October you’ll hear from brands such as Marks & Spencer, Novello Products and Runrug who will share their experiences on managing a brand on marketplaces and best practice for success.

These are three very different businesses – a household name that’s been on our highstreets since 1884, an umbrella brand for a growing portfolio of consumer brands and a company founded in 2011, but with expertise running back decades to 1945.

These three businesses all face the same challenges managing a brand on marketplaces – how do you get exposure in the world of ecommerce, especially on channels where you don’t own the direct relationship with the end consumer?

Sign up for your ChannelX World conference ticket to hear from these amazing speakers and learn the strategies for managing a brand that works for them.

Georgie Janion-Shaw

Founder and CEO Novello Products Ltd

Georgie is the Founder and CEO of Novello Products Ltd (NPL). NPL is a company formed of two parts; ‘brands’ and ‘tech’. On the brands side is a growing portfolio of consumer brands (Sistir, Tayuls and Lollylish) through which unique, personalised products are offered via 3rd party platforms including Amazon, Notonthehighstreet, Etsy and Yumbles. The tech side is home to NPL’s systems which are at the heart of their own operations and also licensed to external businesses. NPL experienced exponential growth as a result of the pandemic and is continuing to expand through a growing product range, new distribution channels and expansion outside the UK.

Prior to NPL, Georgie held senior marketing and consulting roles within global media giants, Disney and Hasbro. She had the privilege of growing and nurturing some of the world’s most beloved brands; Disney Princess, Mickey Mouse, Toy Story and Monopoly to name only a few.

The development of a brand and bringing it to life via creative marketing strategies and compelling products whilst supporting it through solid operational structures and systems has always been a passion of Georgie’s. She is now relishing the opportunity to draw upon her wealth of experience and bring it to her own start up, NPL.
