Opening Keynotes
eBay
First on to the stage will be Murray Lambell, General Manager of eBay UK. We are on the verge of Peak trading and over the past couple of months Murray and his team have been very focused with their business selling community to get you ready for that Peak trading.
We know it’s going to feel very different this year for buyers – for your buyers, eBay buyers – and it’s going feel very different the way that eBay’s going to show up this year. Murray will talk a little bit about that, and he wants to be thoughtful about where’s Government and support and how do we think about planning for the year ahead.
TikTok
Next, Patrick Nommensen, Senior Director of eCommerce Operations at TikTok will take to the stage. Patrick will be sharing how to get the most out of TikTok Shop and where they see the future of Community Commerce going.
Patrick knows that for some sellers this will be a whole new frontier, collaborating with creators and selling during live events, so he’s hoping to demystify all of that and help merchants both small and large tap into this new way of shopping.
Amazon
Before the first break, Shauli Ziv Director, Marketplace, EU at Amazon will share an update for businesses trading on Amazon.
Shauli leads Amazon’s Merchant Fulfillment Network, Seller Onboarding, Marketing and Amazon Launchpad in the EU. His career experiences in the 10+ years he has been with Amazon ranged from launching customer and seller facing programs such as Amazon Launchpad, to running both Operations and Consumer organisations.
In 2020, Shauli initiated and launched Amazon’s collaboration with the UK charity Magic Breakfast, delivering millions of meals to children during COVID-19 lockdowns. He joined Marketplace in February 2021, and leads multiple initiatives aimed at improving Selling Partner satisfaction and growth, both in the EU and globally.
