While other tech companies put a freeze on recruitment, UK-based online marketplace, OnBuy, has begun a strong recruitment drive ready to help deliver a top-secret product roadmap. 1. I saw some of the jobs advertised a few weeks ago, and thought I would apply for one that closely matched my experience. I dont generally apply for jobs as I have my own business, but I liked the positive energy of the CEO. My initial impression of On Buy was positive. I already buy and sell on there and it has always been a positive experience.

Despite many years high level ecommerce and corporate blue chip experience plus a degree from a top university, I did not even get a reply, or acknowledgement back…not even an automated “thanks, we received your application”. This was a few weeks ago now. If you want top talent as your say, the sign of a good company is treating everybody with the same level of respect, irrespective of whether they are suitable or not! Just a thought, but good luck with your growth path.
