Research by eBay Ads shows energy efficient purchases have been front of mind for consumers as early as last July, with searches for items such as “heated blanket” and “loft insulation” rising 132% and 37% compared with July 2021. With ever larger utility bills, energy saving is a top trend for 2023.
As we head further into winter (and beyond), energy efficient purchasing trends will only continue to increase. To help support small businesses selling in these categories, eBay are offering 50% off variable final value fees (FVF) until 30 April 2023.
