There’s an eBay label promo running until 6pm on the 30th of March offering a discount on tracked carrier services. You can save 30% on selected DPD, Yodel or EVRi services when purchased on eBay.
eBay label promo services offered
- EVRI ‘0-1kg Parcel’ is reduced from £2.75 to £1.92
- Yodel ‘1-2kg Parcel’ is reduced from £3.71 to £2.60
- DPD ‘0-20kg Parcel’ is reduced from £6.14 to £4.30
This eBay label promo will be welcomed by many as they are being squeezed by just about every supplier going, but also leans into two eBay aims.
First, you’ll note that eBay label promo services are all tracked – eBay want shipments, wherever possible, to be moved to tracked services for a better consumer experience.
Second, Murray Lambell, eBay UK General Manager, recently told ChannelX that the marketplace had expressed their regret directly to Royal Mail that they hadn’t managed to come to an agreement with the CWU Union leading to strikes going ahead over the Christmas period and that they were working with all carriers to bring a wider offering of affordable quality services to sellers.
My view is how do we help all of the carriers in the UK provide great services and solutions to the sellers that need them and so we are very thoughtful and you should expect to see improvements on our side on how we make availability and access to all of our sellers for different types of shipping and solutions more readily and more easily, so that they are not beholden to a limited number of solutions and equally how do we use the data and information we’ve got back so that all the carriers continue to lift their quality and services standards.
I think that this area is so core to the success of online retailing in the UK and we need to see a step change in the number of improvements that we get from carriers.
