Amazon increase Vine cap to 200 ASINs

Amazon have announced an expansion to the Vine programme, they have increased the Vine enrollment cap from 60 to 200, so you can now enroll up to 200 ASINs in the Vine program simultaneously.

Amazon Vine, an invitation-only programme, selects the most insightful reviewers in the Amazon store to serve as Vine Voices. Vine Voices have the unique opportunity to order items free of charge and share their product experiences with Amazon customers to help them make informed buying decisions. This does mean that a brand wishing to participate has to give up to 30 products away for free.

Vine Voices may request products which are they delivered to their doorsteps at no cost. They then use the products and provide insightful reviews that reflect their honest and unbiased opinions – positive, neutral or negative. Reviews of a product ordered through Vine appear in the same location as other reviews. Amazon Vine reviews are distinguished with this special badge ‘Vine Customer Review of Free Product’ for full transparency.

The requirements to offer products to Vine Voices are:

  • To be a brand registered in Amazon Brand Registry
  • Have fewer than 30 reviews on the product detail page
  • Have a buyable FBA offer in ‘New’ condition
  • Not be an adult product
  • Have already launched at the time of enrollment
  • Have available inventory
  • Have an image and a description

To get started with Amazon Vine, qualifying Brands will find the Vine Dashboard under the Advertising Tab is Amazon Seller Central. The fee for Vine is £140.00 ($200) to enrol a product. Amazon will not charge the fee if the product does not get any reviews, or first Vine review is published more than 90 days from the date they make your product available to Vine Voices.
