How to win one of the eBay for Business Awards 2024
- Tell eBay your story!
- Showcase the best of your business and the journey you’ve taken to get to where you are today.
- Your aspirations
- Give an insight of your future goals, what makes you tick, and how £10,000 will help your business get there.
- Submit your entry
- Make sure you submit your application entry by 11:59PM on Wednesday 3 July 2024 to be in the running.
- Get shortlisted
- Judges will select candidates for each category, before voting opens for the general public to choose their favourite.
- Get votes
- Voting is open from Wednesday 24 July 2024 to Wednesday 7 August 2024. Don’t forget to ask your friends, family and customers to vote!
- Evaluation
- Winners will be determined by an eBay judging panel and public votes, each making a 50% contribution to the result.

It’ll take about 20 minutes to submit your entry. So, take time to think about what you want to say before you start. Once you’re ready to go, find a comfy spot and start crafting your submission. Once you start you won’t be able to save your entry, so make sure you allocate enough time to get it done to the best of your ability.

April 2023. Almost 4 years have passed since I left my previous business. My anxiety disorder, of which I was not aware, has driven me to my bed and even that wasn’t the safest place I could be in. With heart rate of 240 beats per minute while resting and about a dozen of other symptoms that my brain could only interpret as a danger to my life I have realised what battle was ahead of me. Having lost all my former confidence, two months after I decided to make my first steps to recovery I opened my eBay store, Offset Guitars UK, a startup with an investment of just £400 pounds that generated a total revenue of 24 thousand pounds in just 10 months. After becoming a Top Rated Seller this year and finding a niche in the market the store is now focused on offering used electric guitars and basses with current stock worth over 10 thousand pounds. Thanks to ebay I have managed to establish a reputation which brings new as well as old customers. A 10 thousand pounds award would be invaluable to further invest in my business’ development. Much of it would provide professional and thus expensive tools needed to further improve the quality of goods offered in my store. It would also help to pay for the ebay store subscription which is one of the best tools that helps to attract new buyers. The success of my new business, in my opinion, will be the key to my recovery.
