Pinterest Manifestival is the most inspirational space at Cannes Lions, designed to spark creativity. With less talks and panels and more hands-on activities, it offers a colourful and immersive step into a real life Pinterest, where people can go from inspiration to action.
This year’s activation lineup will include:
- Real Tattoos: The beloved tattoo parlour is back with artist One by One Tattoo who will curate one-of-a-kind, iconic designs for attendees inspired by worldwide Pinterest trends.
- A Charm Bar: Visitors cancreate unique accessories and jewellery from an assortment of new and thrifted materials, beads, charms and chains with Bon Bon Whims.
- Upcycled Accessories: Artist Sophie Hird will collab with attendees to create custom bags, constructed entirely out of repurposed materials like football jerseys and sports paraphernalia.
- Personal Color consultations: Expert Siân Clarke will curate special hues, all based on individual hair colour and skin tone range.
- Creation Stations: Whether it’s marble-dipped accessories with London Sneaker School, or one-of-a-kind jewellery or adopting a brand new aesthetic, visitors can experiment with style.
On Pinterest, brands are welcomed as a part of the user experience, and this year’s activation will also include some of Pinterest’s most inspiring partners, including eos, and Wayfair. Here’s a snapshot:
- eos: the beloved Gen Z brand will provide attendees with a moment to nourish their skin or lips, and the opportunity to personalise their product packaging at the charm bar.
- Wayfair: Wayfair added collages on Pinterest to the mix of shoppable ad formats. The format proved to be a winning tactic, driving 28% more efficient cost per click (CPC) and 5.4x higher engagement compared to retail vertical benchmarks. Wayfair also saw a 1.15x lift in gross revenue WoW from Pinterest during the campaign. Their collages will inspire one of Pinterest’s meeting rooms, furnished with Wayfair’s top furniture picks.
