InPost celebrates 100th One Stop Parcel Locker Location

InPost are celebrating the installation of their 100th One Stop parcel locker, marking yet another significant milestone as it expands its locker network with one of the best-recognised convenience retailers in the UK. This achievement underscores InPost’s commitment to growing availability of its convenient, cost-effective and sustainable parcel lockers across the UK.

The collaboration with One Stop, a convenience retailer known for its focus on community-centric retailing, has seen a rapid deployment of InPost Lockers, offering customers a reliable out-of-home (OOH) delivery option. With 24/7 accessibility, InPost Lockers provide unparalleled convenience for busy shoppers looking to collect or return parcels on their own schedule. The first locker was deployed in November 2023 at a One Stop location in Derbyshire, with an initial goal to reach 100 lockers by October 2024 – a target both parties have achieved nearly three months ahead of schedule.

One Stop’s ongoing modernisation efforts and its focus on enhancing customer convenience perfectly align with InPost’s offering, with research revealing the top three reasons for choosing lockers:

  • Convenience (36%)
  • Lower costs (19%)
  • Speed (17%)

The introduction of more InPost Lockers at One Stop stores not only supports One Stop’s strategy to improve in-store services, but also caters to the growing consumer demand for flexible OOH delivery solutions.

With One Stop’s extensive network of over 1,000 stores nationwide, InPost aims to continue this growth trajectory, ensuring more communities benefit from its convenient, cost-effective and more sustainable delivery service. With more than half of UK consumers now using delivery lockers for online purchases[ii], this partnership exemplifies how retail and logistics collaborations can drive enhanced accessibility in a fast-evolving retail landscape.

Achieving this significant milestone of our 100th locker installation at One Stop stores reinforces our commitment to expanding our network of convenient delivery services across the nation. The InPost network is rapidly growing, and by leveraging One Stop’s extensive network of over 1,000 stores, we’re not only broadening our reach but also redefining community accessibility. Our collaboration with One Stop exemplifies the power of retail and logistics working together to enhance consumer experiences. As the demand for flexible delivery options continues to grow, our aim is to ensure that even more communities benefit from this innovative service by reaching as many locations as possible across One Stop’s managed and franchise businesses, making parcel lockers the go-to choice for UK consumers.

– Neil Kuschel, UK CEO, InPost

Partnering with InPost brings both speed and convenience to many of the communities that we serve, and to reach the milestone of 100 installations is fantastic. As a retailer, our customers’ delivery needs are continuously evolving, so providing an easy and flexible parcel locker delivery option was a must.

– Nigel Prendergast, Head of Customer and Business Support, One Stop

  1. Not understand why some of these lockers accept Evri Parcels and others don’t.

One right where I pass every day, no one ever uses, but won’t allow Evri, locker space is huge.

If deliveries are a priority at these locations allow, a certain % of parcels to utilize the locker fully ? Or maybe its to do with collections ?
