Andrew has overall responsibility for product strategy, growth, and profitability of the Charles Bentley & Son Ltd online business selling in multiple marketplaces across several countries. Over 12 years he has made 30+ Trips to the Far East on multiple buying & negotiation trips including to China, Indonesia, Sri Lanka & Vietnam!
Expect to hear a marketplace masterplan including being a launch partner on the UK’s newest marketplace – Tesco
Nicole Olbe, Country Manager UK, Adyen
Nicole is a customer focused professional with over 20 years’ experience in the global payments ecosystem. She has a reputation for developing diverse talent, driving results and strategy, galvanising teams, and being an agent of change. Nicole has recently joined Adyen as the UK Managing Director.
Expect to learn tactics for enhancing customer retention and maximising lifetime value including personalised engagement strategies, loyalty programs, and post-purchase experiences.
Douglas de Santi, Global Head of Direct to Consumer, Nextbase
Douglas is an experienced Digital Product Manager, with a proven track record of delivering ecommerce solutions and optimising user experience to increase conversion rates for online retailers by managing digital product roadmap from concept through to delivery. He is currently, Global Head of Direct to Consumer at Nextbase the UK’s leading dash camera brand.
Expect to learn how to improve the overall customer experience on e-commerce channels, including strategies for reducing friction in the purchasing process, enhancing product discovery, and providing personalized recommendations and support.
Octavie Gosselin, Vice President – Ads, Mirakl
Octavie Gosselin joined Mirakl in February 2021 as Chief of Staff to the CEO, and was appointed Vice President Mirakl Ads in January 2024. Prior to Mirakl, she worked for McKinsey & Company
Expect to hear insights on the rapid growth of retailer led marketplaces and how retail media is progressing on newer retailer led platforms.
Chris Turton, Managing Director, Ecommerce Intelligence
Chris leads a team of account managers, analysts, and sponsored product experts who help businesses grow on Amazon. With over 8 years of experience in Amazon FBA, seller, and vendor services, and 11 years of Ecommerce expertise, he has worked with about 160 Amazon accounts across various industries and niches, solving complex catalog problems and handling £5.5m in sales every month.
Chris will be MC for the Marketplace Strategy & Operations Track at the ChannelX conference, and you can expect him to draw on his expertise to add to the panel discussions.
