Expect an update on Kingfisher’s B&Q marketplace in the UK and their marketplace expansion in Europe.
Sean Douglas, Country Head UK/IE & Managing Director, zooplus
Sean brings over 20 years of success in forging digital growth pathways for established and emerging brands having previously worked at eBay, PayPal, Pepsi and Mars before becoming UK/IE Managing Director & Country GM UK/IE of the leading ecommerce pet platform in Europe. There’s also a new zooplus marketplace coming later this year, so you might just get a preview of what’s to come.
Expect to learn strategies for enhancing personalisation and improving customer experience on marketplaces through data analytics, recommendation systems, user segmentation, and tailored services.
Jemma Tadd, Head of Fashion, eBay
Jemma joined eBay UK as senior business development manager in June 2018 and was promoted to head of fashion in November 2022. She has previously held roles at The Hut Group and Zalando. Under her leadership, Ebay partnered with hit ITV2 reality show Love Island in May – the first time the popular show has shunned fast fashion brands in favour of pre-owned product.
Expect to learn how sustainable fashion is at the heart of ecommerce in today’s more environmentally conscious world.
Mike Fethers, Ecommerce Business Manager, Sony Playstation
Mike is currently the Ecommerce Business Development Manager at Sony Interactive Entertainment (PlayStation), focusing on the direct-to-consumer (D2C) strategy for PlayStation products and services. As a passionate retailer, he understands the critical role of supply chain in delivering value to consumers and stakeholders alike.
