Amazon Autos to sell Hyundai cars in 48 US cities

Amazon Autos has launched in 48 U.S. cities, allowing customers to browse, order, finance, and schedule pickup of new Hyundai vehicles from local participating dealers directly on Amazon. The service offers a streamlined, end-to-end online experience, including vehicle search, trade-in valuation, transparent pricing, financing options, and online checkout. This innovative approach aims to simplify car shopping by leveraging Amazon’s trusted platform and user-friendly interface.

The program, say Amazon, benefits both customers and dealers by providing a convenient, haggle-free car-buying process and connecting dealers with millions of Amazon shoppers. Amazon plans to expand the service to include more brands, cities, and features in the coming year. This initiative represents a significant step in modernizing the automotive retail experience, combining the ease of online shopping with the personal touch of local dealerships.

With Amazon Autos, customers have a simple, end-to-end online experience to purchase their next vehicle, allowing them to:

  • Browse and search for available vehicles at their local dealer by make, model, trim, color, and features
  • Get an instant valuation and trade in their existing vehicle toward the price of the new car
  • See transparent, upfront pricing
  • Secure financing or pay in full
  • Complete the checkout process online
  • Schedule a pick-up time at the dealership
