Webinterpret have announced the launch of their GPSR Compliance Solution today, with the aim to enable you to effortlessly ensure your listings and business comply with the new GPSR regulation, which comes into full effect this Friday, the 13th of December 2024.
Any sellers that are selling into the EU (or Northern Ireland) who don’t comply, risk losing business.
Webinterpret’s GPSR solution offers to take care of everything for you including:
- EU Responsible Person – Appoint Webinterpret as the EU Responsible Person for your items (when required and if possible)
- Automated GPSR Compliance – Webinterpret suggests data for your listings based on compliance requirements and updates them on your approval
- Localized GPSR Labeling Generation – Download GPSR compliant labels for your products, localized in your buyer’s EU language
- Translated Product Documentation – Get your documentation translated into 24 EU languages
For users with a Webinterpret Starter or Business plan subscription, GPSR compliance is included for eBay and Amazon Webinterpret listings at no additional cost! Webinterpret will also waive the cost of supporting your eBay sales to the EU on orders from your original listings until the 3rd of June 2025.
If you aren’t a Webinterpret customer they have a standalone GPSR package available.
Webinterpret’s GPSR Compliance Package costs start at 1% per transaction with a minimum monthly charge of £19.99/$19.99, but will get lower if you have larger volumes.

The costs seem to have come down as the deadline approaches, but far too late to avoid a big Northern Ireland switch off.
Hasn’t the UK Government updated its guidance to say GPSP only affects that enter the market after 13th December 2024!
Yes, any product placed in EU or NI markets from Friday this week onwards needs to be compliant.
The feedback I get from eBay sellers is that isn’t how eBay see it and is asking them to add manufacturers details for everything they are selling now (pre 13/12/24) – hence a lot of sellers are turning off orders to Northern Ireland today/tomorrow.
I’ve just removed Northern Ireland as a ship to address on Amazon and ebay. Therefore, I no longer sell to Northern Ireland on either website. A sad day really.
The big issue with Amazon is that you can not remove Northern Ireland from your SFP settings. According to their guidance page one minite you have all the regs details required and responsible person and then you do not need to do anything which seems odd and a bit risky.
How is everyone dealing with Northern Ireland and SFP?
Actually I stand corrected you can switch off Northern Ireland. I am sure that did not work when i last tested.
