Pinterest use their data-backed trendspotting methodology and cutting-edge visual search technology to spot what will be really big in the year ahead in their annual Pinterest Predicts 2025 trend report. From there, they zeroed in on search terms sparking colourful conversations—think ‘cherry red fashion’ and ‘soft yellow aesthetics’. Then, Pinterest mapped the emerging trends and colour clusters against first-party data. Looking at actions such as saves, they were able to see which colours were driving engagement over time. The result? Five trend-driven colours ready to take over Pinterest—and culture at large.

Cherry Red
