TikTok have announced policy update of the TikTok Shop Delayed Delivery Refund Policy. Starting from the 14th of February 2025, TikTok Shop may automatically approve refund requests for delayed orders from customers under specific conditions.
What is changing?
- Current Policy: Currently, when customers raise a refund request when their order has not been delivered by the estimated delivery date, TikTok shop has the ability to approve customers’ refund requests if the the order has not been delivered 2 days after that date.
- New Policy: From February 14th 2025 , TikTok Shop may automatically approve customer refund requests, when the order has not been delivered by the estimated delivery date, and has not been delivered within 4 days after that date
Impact
- In case of a delivery delay, TikTok Shop will initiate and/or automatically approve a customer refund request when the the delivery delay exceeds the estimated delivery date by 4 days.
- Items that are delivered will not be eligible for delayed delivery refund requests.
What should you do?
Once the policy is implemented, TikTok recommend that sellers review refund requests approved by the platform in Seller Center > Manage Returns/Refunds > ‘Platform auto-approved request in the last 7 days’.
For Fulfilment by TikTok Shop or Shipped by TikTok (so long as the parcel was handed to the carrier on time), TikTok shop will bear the cost of the refund when TikTok Shop auto-approves in-transit delayed delivery orders. For Shipped by Seller orders, the seller will bear the cost.

is incredible i cant use my back tik tok
I’ve had 5 packages not delivered since the ban, and it’s been over a month. but I don’t have the app anymore so I can’t see where my orders are or make a complaint since tiktok doesn’t reply to emails. how would I go forward with this, anybody know please help
