It was a real pleasure speaking to Lee Patel of Television Film Services today. Watch the video to hear how he started out at the BBC attaching a camera to a rugby ball for a film shot, before progressing to shooting promotional videos. This led to forming a rental business for professional camera equipment when he wasn’t using it, and today Television Film Services also specialise in selling used production equipment all across the world.
GPRS was a problem Lee admits slightly burying his head in the sand about when he started receiving notifications it was to be implemented in December 2024. But fortunately as an existing Webinterpret user he was one of the first to be notified when they introduced their GPSR Compliance solution. This was crucial for maintaining his sales to the EU, and Webinterpret act as his Responsible Person as well as populating the data required to keep his marketplace listings complaint.
