that eBay, in partnership with Hello Alice, have announced that they are now accepting applications for the 2025 Up & Running Grants program.
Now in its sixth year, Up & Running Grants is part of eBay’s broader effort to invest in the success of sellers. Alongside programs like eBay Seller Capital, which connected sellers with over $100M in working capital in 2024 alone, the grants reflect how eBay is helping entrepreneurs at every stage—from just starting out to scaling their businesses.
Since launching in 2020, the program has awarded more than $2.5 million to 250 eBay sellers, helping small business owners strengthen their businesses, pursue new opportunities, and invest back into their communities.
This year, 50 sellers will each receive a $10K grant, a $500 eBay Refurbished credit, and access to education and mentorship through eBay and Hello Alice. Applications are open through June 6, and recipients will be announced in August.
The program continues to drive real impact:
- Sellers have used the grants to renovate physical and digital storefronts, expand product offerings, improve fulfillment processes, and build stronger teams.
- 90% of past recipients have said the grant has made a major difference in their confidence about the future.
- eBay’s partner, Hello Alice, provides all applicants with step-by-step business guides, industry-specific tools, mentorship opportunities, and access to a community of entrepreneurs to help them grow their businesses.
The Up & Running Grants program reflects more than just financial support. It represents the heart of our marketplace: helping sellers turn passions into businesses, build resilient communities, and thrive through every stage of growth.
