With eBay’s experience in driving recommerce over almost 30 years, the eBay Circularity Studio will bring together innovators and industry experts to explore new solutions for small and scaling recommerce and circular businesses models with a focus on practical solutions that create better outcomes for circularity as a whole.
During the eBay Circularity Studio, guests will hear from:
- Toby Perkins MP, Chair, Environmental Audit Select Committee
- Matt Giles, Co-Founder & Managing Director, Preloved Tech, an award-winning eBay seller and specialist in secure, sustainable mobile & IT recycling and recommerce solutions
- Salah Said, Head of Sustainability & ESG, Klarna

As a global marketplace we know there is an appetite to shop smarter, and more sustainably, supporting buyers and sellers to engage with the circular economy for everything from preloved fashion to refurbished technology and homeware.
Blue Earth is a catalyst for innovation to create a better world. Together, we’re focused on connecting the scale and experience of global brands with the creativity of nimble start-ups to spark collaborations, find new ways to scale circular solutions and to make a positive change.
– Eve Williams, General Manager, eBay UK
We’re thrilled to partner with eBay, the global leader in recommerce, proving that small businesses can drive impact and growth. The numbers speak for themselves: almost 3 in 5 global consumers now buy pre-loved goods, and 71% of 25–34-year-olds are leading the way*. The Circularity Studio is just one element of our ongoing partnership with eBay, and will inspire, connect and support action to advance the circular economy.
– Will Hayler, CEO and Co-Founder, Blue Earth
From fashion to finance, Blue Earth Forum is a leading event during London Climate Action Week for innovators, investors and policymakers looking to scale sustainable ideas. eBay’s session builds on its support for circular startups – from SOJO and The Seam to Swoperz.
