It’s time to start thinking about eBay Live since eBay officially launched interactive livestream shopping platform in the UK, debuting at MCM Comic Con London. You’ll find upcoming events on the eBay Live page and Eve Williams, eBay UK GM shared more in her regular blog post:
We’re excited to introduce a new dimension of selling with the launch of eBay Live at MCM Comic Con London. This innovative platform offers real-time, interactive auctions that connect fans directly with business sellers. Our debut featured 18 live selling events, including special streams for the Make-A-Wish Foundation, highlighting our dedication to creating unique content through partnerships with Fandom and other organizations. Currently in its beta phase, we’ll soon be inviting applications in select categories.

eBay Live is a highly interactive livestream shopping experience. This real-time platform allows eBay buyers to shop curated livestream events, hosted by their favorite influencers, brands, and sellers. Shoppers will need to have an active eBay account registered in the UK to participate in this format, which can include both fixed-price and auction listings.
eBay Live is currently in beta with select sellers in Collectibles and Luxury categories. Collectible items include sports trading cards, collectible toys, and comics. Luxury items include watches, handbags, and jewelry.
You’ll need to fill out an eBay Live Seller Interest Form if you’d like to host an eBay Live event, and you’ll be notified as soon as you’re eligible to start selling live.
