Linn Academy 2025 wrap, and what to expect in 2026

Linn Academy 2025 wrap, and what to expect in 2026

Linn Academy 2025 has closed it’s magnificently decorated doors for the final time, but they were just the start of what was to greet delegates over the two days of the conference. There’s been a six year gap since the previous Linn Academy, and it’s been a much missed date in the annual ecommerce calendar. And I have to say I’m thrilled to have a brand new hoodie – the last one has suffered over the past six years!

There were three takeaways from this conference – the marketplaces/channels that retailers can utilise to grow their businesses, the operations needed to support sales – everything from Linnworks themselves to the dozens of partners present at the event, and the logistics side of the business – and that’s not just the fulfilment and shipping, but includes partners who can get you onboarded to marketplaces, powering the platforms and the creation of unique apps and services to streamline your business

And Linnworks pulled out all the stops, just about everyone was there… from Temu, TikTok Shop, Robert Dyas, Amazon, Tesco, B&Q, Curry’s, Walmart and eBay all took to the stage, plus the sheer volume of Linnworks partners ready willing and able to talk channel selling was amazing.

But it wasn’t all retail insights, in between times was a party with a magnificent dance floor, customer and partner awards, drinks, food, lunches and brunches. And for those wanting specific help there was the Genius Bar with the Linnworks product team on hand with the answers to streamline and grow your business.

I’d love to name everyone I ran into, but there were too many to name individually, but a huge shout out to George from ILFD Group LTD who not only created ‘Linny’, the Linnworks mascot but also supplied some fancy dress for the Linnworks Customer Appreciation Party….. and no I’m not going to name them, but I did get permission to post this party goer’s picture (Do you recognise who this is?).

So, what’s next? Well firstly the hundreds of retailers and brands that attended Linn Academy are currently travelling home, many of whom have a full To Do List of things to implement, partners to follow up with, and marketplaces and channels to adopt. This year, eBusiness Guru partnered with a retailer to hold a TikTok Shop Live selling demonstration at Linn Academy, and we’ve already heard that Linnworks want an eBay Live demo next year, and a retailer has already volunteered.

And that takes us to Linn Academy 2026, Linnworks want to hear your thoughts on this year’s event and for you to let them know if you’d like to attend next year (or even if you think it should be a once every two years event?). Plus you can influence what time of year the event takes place and where in the country it’s to be held – personally, I think the Milton Keynes location was superb, but not everyone lives in the South East. If you want to register your interest for Linn Academy 2026 and feed back on this year’s event, you can do so here.
