Last night, I tuned into the first eBay Live fashion event and it was pretty frenetic. Auctions lasted 60 seconds and you hardly had time to look at an item before it was all over and the garment was sold. My top tip – before you even think of tuning in to buy on an eBay Live, check out the sale beforehand and decide what you want to bid on.
This eBay Live with Love Island was hosted by Olivia Attwood, who was joined by Love Island favourites Casey O’Gorman, and Sophie Piper. Olivia brought her signature style and her personal wardrobe to the high-energy livestream, giving fans the chance to shop her curated rail of pre-loved fashion as the looks dropped live on screen.
And in case you’re wondering I wasn’t the only one watching – pver 20,000 shoppers tuned in to snap up standout pieces from high street heroes like AllSaints and House of CB to designer finds by Casablanca and Nadine Merabi. Style savvy fans became proud new owners of bold, pre-loved looks.
There’s something really powerful about giving fashion a second life and eBay makes that both easy and accessible. My style has evolved over the years, but I’ve always been drawn to standout pieces. Standout Pieces from eBay Live x Love Island
- A vintage yellow Versace Jeans Couture two-piece from the ’90s, previously worn by Love Island’s Tasha Ghouri (Series 8), Olivia Hawkins and Ellie Spence (Series 9), sold for £121.
- A custom green Swingster bomber jacket created exclusively for Love Island, featuring an “I got a text” embroidery on the sleeve, sold for £75.
- A Louis Vuitton Leather Speedy Bandouliere bag, with bids starting at £250, skyrocketed to £800 in two seconds, before ultimately selling for £1400.
Best of all, all proceeds went to the Stroke Association, raising almost £4000 for Olivia’s chosen charity.

The event wrapped up with a lively round of Fashion Loves vs Fashion Icks, as Olivia, Casey, Sophie, and the live studio audience weighed in on everything from double denim to matching couple outfits sparking plenty of laughs and a few surprising style confessions.
