As TikTok continue to grow their marketplace, they are introducing a new Shipped by Seller Service Fee in July. At the same time they are sharing news on their Co-funded Promotions.
TikTok Shipped by Seller Service Fee
As part of TikTok’s ongoing efforts to enhance infrastructure and seller tools, they will introduce a Shipped by Seller Service Fee of £0.50 per package (VAT inclusive), effective 00:00 on the 15th of July 2025.
This fee applies only to orders fulfilled under the Shipped by Seller model upon delivery. Fulfilled by TikTok (FBT) and Shipped via Platform will not be subject to this fee, as the associated costs are already included in those services.
TikTok Co-funded Promotions
Co-funded Promotions, a powerful tool to boost sales, is launching for all merchants on the 1st of July, 2025, where you may will be enrolled in a 14-day free trial to unlock exclusive coupons and additional subsidies from TikTok Shop to further boost your sales.
During the free trial period, 100% of promotions will be funded by TikTok Shop. On the 15th of July 2025, TikTok Shop’s free trial will transition fully into the Co-Funded Promotions Programme where TikTok Shop will directly fund 75% of these promotions, while you contribute as little as 25%. You can opt-out, and re-enroll at any time, contribution ratios apply for promotional spends made exclusively through this programme, and are subject to change with updates via the Seller Centre.
TikTok’s pilot results have shown some incredible results, they say that on average, sellers in the programme achieved:
- A 14x return on investment (defined as: sales uplift/ 25% seller promotional cost)
- And 11% growth in new customers
