Why Vroom Classics was founded
For classic car owners, Vroom Classics has been built by classic car lovers to reclaim your special car from the constant commoditisation, from avoidable costs and difficulty, and from the avalanche of junk produced and sold for modern cars. Vroom Classics is not just another car parts marketplace either, they serve the whole gambit of the classic car hobby from parts to art, from 3D printing to workshop manuals, from MOTs to restorations, and from cars & coffees to club memberships.
Vroom Classics was born in late 2024 out of the frustration and obscene cost of trying to repair a lightly damaged British classic, which resolved our co-founders into deciding that enough was enough. Research suggested that a large part of the cost of caring for a classic was concentrated in the fragmentation of supply and in the selling costs and operational inefficiencies to which sellers on established marketplaces were exposed – and both factors compounded each other in a death spiral. So Vroom Classics is trying to break that cycle, make life easier and cheaper for sellers, and thereby make life easier and cheaper for classic car owners.
