AliExpress Launches Hourly Delivery in the UK

AliExpress is raising the bar for convenience in the UK with the launch of its hourly delivery service for household products, food, and beverages.

Beginning this July, customers in Greater London can order packaged food, beverages and everyday household essentials via the AliExpress app and enjoy same-day delivery. The service is set to expand to other UK cities this year to meet the rising demand for local convenience and rapid delivery.

Hungry Panda, a fast-growing grocer and delivery service, is the first to launch its product range with delivery service on AliExpress. A curated collection of daily essentials, drinks, snacks and cupboard staples is now available for hourly delivery, including Coca-Cola, instant noodles and toilet paper. This new service underscores AliExpress’s ambition to become a one-stop shop for local consumers, providing greater value and choice, and speed for everyday needs.

Demonstrating its commitment to the UK market, AliExpress has also announced that the platform is now open for local suppliers and businesses to join, supported by a streamlined onboarding process, 1:1 operational support and a discounted commission fee. UK-based businesses can connect with millions of shoppers on AliExpress, tap into platform promotions and subsidies.

For consumers, this means faster delivery on a wider selection of products—including furniture, large lighting, garden accessories, kitchen gadgets, and more. Orders shipped locally can be delivered within three days at the earliest.

Local businesses and suppliers can connect with millions of shoppers on AliExpress and consumers can get faster shipping on a wider range of products. This move reflects our commitment to provide upgraded service to consumers and our mission to support local businesses.

– Bonnie Zhao, General Manager, AliExpress UK

All products marked “Local+” are delivered from local warehouses, aiming to provide consumers with a more familiar and convenient shopping experience. Over the past year, locally delivered orders have increased sharply, with items like bicycles, consumer electronics, portable power stations, and power tools among the top sellers.

Known for affordability, product variety and efficient global delivery, AliExpress has seen remarkable growth in the UK. During last year’s Black Friday to Cyber Monday shopping weekend, AliExpress became the UK’s most popular shopping site, with visits rising by over 140% according to Similarweb data.

Building on its global e-commerce expertise, AliExpress is expanding its UK presence to strengthen local supply chains and fast-track delivery and position itself as a comprehensive hub for both international and domestic shopping.
