Initially launched on 3rd September 1995 as Auction Web, eBay is fast approaching it’s 30th birthday and they’re going to celebrate big style with seller events across the US. The name was changed from Auction Web to eBay two years later in September 1997 and has grown to be the global phenomenon it is today.
There will be 30 eBay seller-led 30th anniversary celebration events across the United States running from eBay’s 30th birthday on the actual date, the 3rd of September through to the 14th of September and if you want to be part of the festivities you’re invited to take part.
These local seller meeting leaders will host eBay Anniversary parties at various different locations. These events will be a fantastic opportunity to engage with your local eBay community, enjoy exclusive 30th branded merchandise, and participate in trivia and games.
Attendees can look forward to festive photo opportunities and a chance to network with fellow sellers, celebrating three decades of innovation and community on eBay. This milestone event is a perfect occasion to honour the journey and growth of the eBay seller community and celebrate with communities across the US:
