TeaJoy embrace DTC with Amazon UK

TeaJoy embrace DTC with Amazon UK

TeaJoy has made its direct-to-consumer (DTC) debut and they have chosen Amazon as the platform for their launch of bubble tea home kits in the UK. The move marks a strategic entry into ecommerce, building on the brand’s strong presence in foodservice, where it already supplies more than 800 outlets nationwide with commercial bubble tea solutions.

It’s also interesting to note that products sold by TeaJoy are using Amazon FBA, so their DTC isn’t impacting their day to day operations. It’s simply a case of bundling up product and shipping in bulk to Amazon’s warehouses and letting Amazon handle all the interactions with the consumer. They’re also using Amazon promotions with a buy two save 10% offer.

Following being named ‘London Food & Drink Startup of the Year’ at the 2025 UK Startup Awards, TeaJoy is scaling fast with an ambitious year of expansion. The DTC launch of their Fruit tea and Milk Tea Home Kits supports a wider omnichannel growth strategy that includes the rollout of its ready-to-drink (RTD) canned bubble teas set to hit retail shelves this autumn, alongside plans for international expansion into Europe’s high-growth beverage markets.

TeaJoy’s bubble tea home kits make it easier than ever for consumers to enjoy authentic Taiwanese-style bubble tea at home delivering all the joy of bubble tea with zero hassle. Each kit makes four single-serve drinks and comes with jumbo eco-straws and instructions allowing consumers to prepare premium café-style bubble tea in under a minute with no cooking or prep time needed.

We designed these kits to bring the fun of bubble tea into people’s homes. Amazon consumers are looking for at-home drink experiences that are easy to make and let them get creative. They’re quick to prepare and perfect for gifting and DIY bubble tea parties. It’s all about making bubble tea more accessible and joyful for everyone.

Since launching into foodservice, TeaJoy has quickly become a go-to supplier for independents, caterers, and national chains alike, including Creams, Steak & Co., Las Iguanas, Black Sheep Coffee, LegoLand, and Compass Group.

Their all-in-one commercial kit solution eliminates the need for staff training or specialist machinery and provides everything you need to make premium bubble tea in just 20 seconds, an attractive proposition for high-footfall cafés and foodservice operators.
