From the 1st of January 2026, Amazon are simplifying the EPR (Extended Producer Responsibility) Pay on Behalf service fee with a fixed annual amount per EPR category. The big difference is that the 3% in some countries is being removed, and instead sellers will be €0.01 more per category on the fixed fee.
New Amazon EPR Pay on Behalf fees
£20 per EPR category annually for
- United Kingdom.
€25 per per category annually for:
- Belgium
- France
- Italy
- Spain
The 3% variable currently in place for Spain and France is being removed, so that the fee only consists of €25 per EPR category annually. For example, for one EPR category the annual fee is €25, and for two EPR categories the annual fee is €50. No action is required unless you want to opt out of EPR Pay on Behalf.
How opt out of Amazon EPR Pay on Behalf
- Go to Account Health.
- Click Manage your Compliance.
- Click Submit compliance information.
- Submit your valid EPR Registration Number (ERN).
