Evri deliver millions of parcels every day and with 20,000+ couriers, 10,000+ local one-stop ParcelShops and Lockers and a growing network of state-of-the-art hubs and depots, are the perfect partner to handle any number of purchases on the Gumtree Marketplace.
With 10 million monthly visitors and nearly 2 million active listings, this move marks the first time Gumtree will allow buyers to pay for items directly on the site. Secure delivery, starting with selected product categories including fashion, accessories and baby & children, will roll out ahead of a wider launch planned for 2026.
The multi-year partnership with Evri is integral to enabling secure, nationwide shipping across the UK. Evri was selected for its experience, expertise and innovation in logistics. Their fully tracked delivery service – widely used across a host of household retailers – will allow Gumtree customers to benefit from Evri’s growing network of ParcelShop and best-in-class dedicated locker locations.
As the global recommerce market is expected to grow at 10.2% annually by 2029* (with fashion, books, electronics and phones the largest verticals), the partnership positions Gumtree to capitalise on the increasing demand for seamless online buying and selling of pre-loved goods.

there delivery’s are absolutely dire. I live on an estate of nearly 200 apartments.in recently we had electric doors put on each set of apartment’s the post man has a button to get in and other men delivery get on. your lot either leave at the outside door or on the first set of stairs it’s only 3 stories high. has ots only 3sets of 7 stairs to get to the third floor. doesn’t seem to affect any of food delivery. so whats wrong with your lot to lazy or overworked and under paid probably.
