Nova Data Analytics has announced its selection as a winner of the French State Innovation Competition i-Lab 2025. The award includes a €400,000 grant that will accelerate the company’s research and development efforts and enable new recruitment in engineering, AI research, software development and product innovation.
This recognition reflects Nova’s ambition to bring clarity and scientific rigor to the management of ecommerce performance, specifically their claim to fame is, they say, the most advanced analytics platform for Amazon FBA.
Nova offer customizable analytics, real-time insights, profit tracking, and enhanced portfolio management. Brands face constant fluctuations in prices, competitive intensity, stock levels, seasonality and campaign pressure. Traditional analytics tools often fail to explain why performance changes.
Nova solves this gap by transforming large and heterogeneous datasets into a structured and interpretable knowledge graph. This system connects thousands of signals and reveals the true drivers behind sales variations, helping teams understand what happened, why it happened and what should be done next.
Nova Two Step Method for Business Teams
- Explain and refine. The knowledge graph identifies the most probable causes of performance variations, including pricing effects, competitor moves, availability issues, media pressure and merchandising factors. The model is continuously refined using operational feedback from teams in the field.
- Model and predict. Once the causal understanding is established, Nova develops predictive and scenario based models tailored to each brand, category and channel. Teams can simulate pricing actions, promotional strategies, assortment changes and media mix adjustments and instantly see their estimated impact on revenue and margin.
First we explain what is happening and refine the model with the teams. Then we predict and simulate so decisions can be made quickly and with the right level of confidence. The knowledge graph brings the transparency e-commerce leaders expect. This funding will accelerate our engineering roadmap and strengthen our scientific foundations.
