Temu has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Italiane Post, Austrian Post, and its subsidiaries such as Express One and Aras Kargo. The signing strengthens the marketplace’s logistics collaboration and improves services for both consumers and sellers across Europe.
The MoUs outline broad areas of cooperation, including the expansion of sorting capabilities, support for the development of Local-to-Local logistics solutions, and enhanced service quality.
For local sellers, this collaboration is expected to further simplify fulfillment, shorten delivery times, and reduce logistics costs. Leveraging both networks and Temu’s expanding Local Seller Program, the companies aim to create a more efficient supply chain connecting European businesses with consumers at home and abroad.
Austrian Post is the largest postal and logistics company in the country, and Italiane Post is the largest infrastructure in Italy. The partnership marks a significant step for Temu, which expects up to 80% of its European sales to be eventually fulfilled within the region, offering customers a broader selection and faster delivery while helping local businesses grow their reach.
These partnerships also enables the export of regional products to global markets, making deliveries more reliable and affordable for consumers and sellers throughout the region.
Since last year, Temu has begun inviting local sellers in Austria, Germany, France, Spain, Italy, and the UK to join its platform, enabling local warehouse fulfillment. The company expects up to 80% of its European sales to be eventually fulfilled within the region, offering customers a broader selection and faster deliveries while helping local businesses grow their reach.
