Expanded Evri Group to recruit 2,500 new roles

Evri Group, the UK’s premier parcel delivery company, has announced a major recruitment drive of 2,500 roles nationwide, reinforcing its position as one of the country’s fastest-growing logistics services and rounding off a period of significant growth following a merger with DHL eCommerce UK, and acquisitions of Coll-8 and UK Mail.

The new roles come amid a surge in parcel volumes, which were revealed to have increased 12% to 425 million in its record half-year results for the 26 weeks ended 30 August 2025. Following a £36 million investment in infrastructure, Evri continues to invest in its people and is creating opportunities across its operations and within its Leeds-based head office.

Martijn de Lange, CEO, Evri Group, said: “We continue to deliver phenomenal growth at Evri, and none more so than within our hard-working courier network, who are truly the backbone of our business. At a time when many companies are reducing headcount and unemployment is growing, we’re proud to be creating thousands of opportunities and leading the way with initiatives like Evri Plus.

Evri plans to hire 2,500 roles across head office corporate functions, couriers, depot and hub roles, and Evri Premium roles. Available roles include:

  • Corporate positions – from finance business partners to IT business analysts and graduate roles to apprenticeships, there are great career opportunities within Evri’s head office teams. Evri is committed to hybrid working and offer development opportunities and career progression.
  • Courier positions – flexible, community-based work in your local area, with competitive earnings
  • Depot and hub roles – roles available nationwide to support Evri’s expanding network and parcel volumes and integration with DHL eCommerce UK
  • Evri Premium roles – delivering exceptional service for high-value deliveries, DHL eCommerce UK will become Evri Premium in 2026

The combined recruitment drive follows the relaunch of Evri’s pioneering, union-backed ‘Evri Plus’ initiative earlier this year, which gives self-employed couriers access to benefits such as 28 days paid holiday, pension contributions, parental leave, and guaranteed national minimum wage – all while retaining the flexibility of self-employment.

Couriers typically earn an average of £20.86 per hour, with the flexibility to deliver parcels between 8am and 8pm. Additional benefits for couriers include free access to wellbeing services such as Digital GP and Physio, retail discounts, and participation in Evri’s ‘Go Electric’ scheme, which offers up to £3,300 towards an electric vehicle over two years

Evri’s brand momentum has also been recognised externally, with its improvements recently recognised by Citizens Advice in its annual parcels league table which highlighted Evri as the only parcel carrier to have a positive upward trajectory since the league table began in 2021. Evri, which ranks in joint third place alongside DPD, showed meaningful progress in customer service compared to the previous year, and is also one of only two parcel firms to have improved their customer service score over the last three years. Evri has also been named among the Top 10 Most Improved Brands in the UK by YouGov’s Brand Index, reflecting rising consumer trust and satisfaction.
