With this Tuesday marking the last day for online shopping with delivery in time for Christmas, it’s time for a few days off at ChannelX ready to return in the New Year for what’s already shaping up to be a pivotal year for ecommerce.
We know many of you will be working throughout the Christmas holiday period – buyers won’t stop buying and even on Christmas day bored shoppers will be hopping online for a bit of retail therapy. But we hope at least that you’ll be able to take the bank holidays off to spend with friends and family for some rest and relaxation.
2026 will be the year that Agentic Commerce really takes off, opening exciting new channels to the still relatively new Retail Media, alongside marketplaces and of course social commerce which as pretty much already become mainstream.
There have never been more channels and new opportunities for brands and retailers to sell through, and we’ll be publishing the 2026 Leaders Interviews in the New Year bringing you the very best thought leadership from those at the forefront of ecommerce.
During 2025, we welcome hundreds of you to conferences and executive private dining dinners, and we hope to see you at an event in 2026. Mark the 8th of June in your diary for when the ChannelX World conference returns, including an Amazon focused stream and a TikTok and social commerce dedicated stream.
