eBay Live offers a powerful way to foster vibrant communities and supercharge sales all in one seamless experience. It’s a dynamic and highly interactive shopping experience where buyers can interact with you and purchase directly from your shop during a livestream. On the 27th of March, eBay Live held 24 hours of drops and today we can bring you some of the results via Eve Williams monthly blog post.

- 25% of buyers were new to eBay Live
- 14% of viewers tuned into Live for the first time

- Electronics

- The highest-value item sold on the day was the Rolex Land-Dweller for £37,500
- As well as eBay’s headline streams, there were hundreds more seller-hosted events, from DIY to sneakers and beyond
As eBay Live continues to grow, eBay are focusing on how they can bring more buyers into the experience and help sellers reach audiences they might not otherwise connect with.
Alongside past collaborations with M&S x Reskinned and Pokémon 30, eBay recently announced a new headline partnership with Saturday Night Live UK – supporting the British debut of NBC’s legendary late-night comedy show. As its title sponsor, eBay will be integrating eBay Live across TV, video, on-demand and social channels, introducing interactive shopping to a new generation of culturally-engaged viewers.
One particularly exciting part of the launch is eBay’s new YouTube series: The SNL UK Style Edit, featuring eBay’s own Pre-loved Style Director, Amy Bannerman. Amy will dress SNL cast members in capsule wardrobes sourced from eBay sellers, giving you the opportunity to showcase your stock in front of an audience of fashion enthusiasts.
