Homebase Ireland is not a traditional marketplace model, it’s 2p (dropship) through Virtualstock powered by Logicbroker. There are some huge advantages to this method of selling – put simply you set your sell price and Homebase Ireland not only set the retail price but also take care of all the marketing. They effectively treat your products as if it was their own stock and will include in their own promotions, so there are no additional fees like Retail Media that you are expected to invest in to get your products seen.
It’s very much like a traditional supplier-retailer arrangement with the only difference being that you’ll dropship products individually as they sell rather than selling 1p and sending in goods by the pallet load.
