Pinterest first ever solo shirt sponsor for Brighton & Hove Albion Women

Pinterest have announced a partnership with Brighton & Hove Albion Women, with Pinterest’s logo set to debut at the club’s pre-season friendly against Paris Saint-Germain on Sunday 9 August. Over the next four years, Pinterest and Brighton & Hove Albion Women will team up across matchday style, creator collaborations, grassroots community moments and player storytelling, providing inspiration to the city and fans on the road to the new stadium.

At the heart of the partnership is a simple idea: the best part of fandom is not just watching, it is doing. From the outfits fans wear and the banners they make to the creators, players and local communities that give the club its energy – the partnership will celebrate the many ways football culture is made, shared and lived. Rooted in Brighton but designed to resonate far beyond it, it will tap into the growing energy around the women’s game and the fans that are helping to shape its future.

Football fandom starts long before kick-off. It lives in the outfit you pull together, the banner you paint the night before, the friends you go with and the little details that make matchday feel bigger than the game itself. Pinterest is where those ideas go from URL to IRL, and with Brighton & Hove Albion Women we want to celebrate that creativity and help make every game feel richer, more personal and more memorable for supporters.

– Louise Foley, Director of Consumer Marketing, Europe, Pinterest

We are delighted to welcome Pinterest as the first solo sponsor of our women’s team. We’re looking forward to collaborating with them and helping to celebrate the players, fans, community and culture that make the city of Brighton & Hove and our football club such a special place.

– Zoe Johnson, Managing Director Women’s and Girls’ Football

The partnership builds on Pinterest’s growing investment in women’s sport, following its official partnership with the New York Liberty. Together, these partnerships reflect Pinterest’s belief that women’s sport is one of the most exciting spaces in culture today, where fandom, identity, community and creativity come together in ways that extend far beyond the game itself.

It is also the latest example of what makes Pinterest unique: the best thing you can find online is a reason to get offline. With Brighton & Hove Albion Women, that means bringing ideas off the screen and into matchday, in the style, rituals and fan creativity that shape the women’s game.
