We’ve only just spotted that since June Flybe have been offering customers booking flights online at www.flybe.com the option of paying with PayPal
They’re accepting payments from travelers in British Pounds; Euros or US Dollars negating the need to enter their credit card details when buying Flybe flights with PayPal. It streamlines the booking process by reducing the amount of ‘clicks’ needed to move through the Flybe booking process.
Commenting on the addition of Flybe’s new PayPal multi-currency payment options, Paul Simmons, Flybe’s Chief Commercial Officer, said: “We want to make booking as quick and easy as possible for all our customers no matter in what currency they are paying, and PayPal does just that by giving them the ability to pay the way they want to pay. We understand that millions of people these days have PayPal accounts and that they often prefer using this payment method when paying and we sincerely hope that this will prove of great benefit to them. Part of being the ‘Fastest Way from A to Flybe’ is also the ability to spend as little time as possible when making an original booking!”
Cameron McLean, PayPal UK’s managing director, commented, “We’re delighted that Flybe now takes PayPal. Our customers love travelling and we’re sure they’ll be quick to take advantage of the fact it’s now even faster to pay for a flight with Europe’s biggest regional airline“, adding “We’ve been very impressed at how quickly Flybe moved to add PayPal to its website – one of the fastest arrivals we’ve seen“.
