Grabble is probably the biggest ecommerce fashion outlet that you’ve probably never heard of. But it’s a hugely popular fashion app (available on Andorid and iPhone) that has been called the “tinder for fashion” based on how you swipe a product left or right to declare whether you like it or not.
With 80k users already available, the app features over 1 million products and more than 2,000 retailers including ASOS, Net A Porter and Selfridges.
Whilst there is also a website and browser integration button to ‘grab’ things you like, Grabble has prospered from taking the plunge to being a principally app based shopping experience. That speaks to the habits of its target demographic but also the general trend toward mobile that has been apparent over the past few years.
Co founder of Grabble Daniel Murray says of the app first approach: “We agonised over it at the time because we had put everything into making the website a fantastic consumer experience, but ultimately it has paid big dividends; user engagement went up 500% in a matter of weeks.” You can read more about the company in Forbes.
Are any of you already using Grabble, as a buyer or seller and, if so, how’s it going?
