Amazon are launching a raft of their own fashion brands and to support it have their own online shipping show, Style Code Live, which aired for the first time last night.
Amazon have registered a series of trademarks for fashion brands and some of their private label brands are already available of sale on Amazon.com.
Amazon want to dominate the fashion world in the same was as they’re probably the first online place you go to if you want to purchase a physical DVD or book. You know that if anyone has it Amazon probably will. Currently Amazon is probably not the first place you think of when shopping for high end fashion and they want to change that.
Their half hour daily Style Code show aims to start changing your impression of the fashion that you can buy on Amazon. A high octane fast moving show with presenters Lyndsey Rodrigues, Rachel Smith and Frankie Grande, the show will feature latest fashion trends, make up tips, accessory tips and interviews.

Style Code is advert free, but that doesn’t mean you can’t spend any money. While you watch the show you’ll be given the opportunity to purchase featured products with just a couple of mouse clicks.
I imagine that third party Amazon retailers will be climbing over themselves to get their products featured on Style Code. Currently it’s a US based show so UK readers don’t need to worry too much yet, but if you hear a rumour of a similar daily Amazon fashion show opening in the UK you definitely want to be involved.
