After writing about the Google Manufacture Center in the US earlier this week, we can now reveal the launch of the Google Manufacturer Centre in the UK. This means that all UK manufacturers who sell their products through retailers can upload rich information to ensure that retailer placed online ads get the best information possible attached to them.
GS1 UK will be hosting the Google Manufacturer Centre team, who are coming to London to present and discuss their platform in an event to be held on the 22nd of June.
When branded manufacturers provide detailed product information (images, titles, descriptions, videos, and more), to improve how a brand is represented within Google Shopping, the brand will see a number of benefits:
- Analytics: Review GTIN level impressions, clicks, and CTR, and compare product performance against category benchmarks
- Branding:Provide accurate and detailed product information to better inform shoppers and improve your brand presence
- Discoverability:Participating manufacturers have realized significant increases in product impressions and traffic
