Start Date:

End Date:
Wednesday 20th September 2017 - 4:30 pm

Calling all London-based online sellers. The Department for International Trade (DIT) London Region is organising a half-day workshop to help you find international customers by selling on e-marketplaces, such as Fruugo, eBay, Amazon, Galaxus, Fnac, Etsy, Real.de, Cdiscount and bol.com.

During this half-day workshop, the DIT will present you the different services you will need to easily manage selling on several e-marketplaces at the same time. The objective is to have you up and running and listed on a selection of global marketplaces.

DIT will bring together businesses that provide these services. They will explain what they do and how they will enable you to run an efficient and profitable market place business: logistics, translation, stock feed management, return handling, localized customer service and VAT registration (for bol.com) – all offering discounted prices for their services.

You might be also be able to apply for a grant for both a technical review of your existing site and translation of your listings.

Who is this opportunity for?

London-based small to medium sized businesses (SMEs) with a Magento or Shopify website, existing eBay sellers or hold stock information in .csv files. Sellers from all product categories are welcome and will benefit from this initiative.

This event is suitable for London-based SMEs who are either:

  • New to Export (no overseas sales secured) or
